Retry Settings on Methods

After defining retry settings as master data, see Master Data - Retry Settings, a retry setting can be configured on a per-method basis.

Important

A retry setting will only be applied when the method is executed as main method. This means that when a method is used for an input or output extension or has a realtime key assigned, any configured retry setting will be ignored.

Available Settings

Follow these steps to configure the proper retry setting on a method:

1. Open the main method;
2. Go to the tab Execution;
3. Click on the dropdown box Retry Setting to list all available settings.

Select the proper setting and save the change.

Removing a Configured Setting

To remove a retry setting of a method, just follow the steps above and select the first empty line in the dropdown box. Save the change and the retry setting is cleared from the method.
