Q2 2022
Realtime ADM: Changed Behaviour
The following will be changed in realtime ADM.
When a multi record is dirty, no realtime notifications will be processed. The user will only see a notification that there were changes. The multi record view will be considered as dirty when the user:
- filters the data;
- sorts the data;
- makes a selection of rows;
- executes list item functions.
In this notification, the user has the possibility to retrieve the changes. The user will visually see what has been changed when processing the changes.
When a new record has been added, the user will always see a notification. It is no longer possible to get this new change real time.
BAM Service
All log files will be processed by a new Windows Service instead of the current Process BAM Logging method job. The service will take the CPU consumption into account when processing all files.
The BAM Service will offer support for SQL partitioning. This ensures a much faster cleanup of logging. This is only supported on SQL Standard 2016 or higher or the Enterprise editions of 2012 and 2014.
Multi Threading of Interface Processes
Just like BCM processes, also interface processes will be multi threaded. This will reduce the memory consumption on the server and gives a performance boost.
Data Extensions
The data extensions functionality can use some love from our developers. It has been untouched for a while and needs to be updated to support upcoming scenarios. We will improve the configuration screens and furthermore allow you to configure parallel running data extensions. The screenshot below gives you insights in what you can expect from this revamp.
Ometa Smart Tiles
The Ometa Smart Tiles will be introduced to make web based portals more attractive and provide key information to end users. The Smart Tiles can be used to create navigation, visualise KPIs or the combination of both. When navigation is incorporated in the view, the user can click the tile to navigate.
In future updates, this new component will be extended:
- Overwrite cultures instead of using the OOTB .NET cultures.
- Configure the Show Date / Show Time options.
- Configure decimals to be displayed.
- Configure security to hide tiles conditionality or don't show data conditionally.
Timeline Chart
A new timeline chart will be introduced to visualise events on a time based axis.
