    Install Case Management Dashboard

The Case Management Dashboard provides a way to manage cases, queues, memberships and execute case actions. The Case Management Dashboard is a SharePoint site collection which needs to be provisioned manually.

    Installation

Follow the next steps to create the dashboard:

    1. Go to the Objects in the Ometa Business Connector.
    2. Execute the Ensure System Lifecycles method from the DCS.System object. Use the DCS Utilities profile. This will create the system lifecycle in Case Management.

    5. Select the correct URL Mapping where the dashboard should be created.

      Important

The URL Mapping must have a profile based on the SharePoint Building Blocks template. The user of this profile will be the owner of the site collection.

A system lifecycle cannot be changed except a few settings like the URL mapping. Notice, the URL mapping is the place where the dashboard will be created. If you don't have a URL mapping, create a new one by clicking on the URL Mappings in the ribbon.

    6. Save the changes.

    10. Fill out a URL, e.g.: CMD.

      Ensure System Lifecycle Case

    11. All ADMs in the Case Management Dashboard use the DCS ODBC profile. Click Profiles in the ribbon and select the DCS ODBC profile.

    12. Inspect the Connectionstring. By default this contains: DSN=ODBC. Make sure this data source is configured on the system.

    Configure Permissions

It is possible to configure permissions on the Case Management Dashboard. This happens on the same way as with other lifecycles.

    1. Open the Flow Designer and right click the Created State of the Case Management Dashboard lifecycle.
    2. Click on Manage State.
    3. Click on the State Permissions tab.
    4. Configure all the roles which need access to the Case Management Dashboard.

When you change the url mapping or permissions of the Case Managament Dashboard lifecycle you should recreate the Case Management Dashboard.
