Introduction to the BaaN interface

This chapter describes the adapter between the Ometa Business Connector and the Infor Baan ERP application. The following versions of Infor Baan ERP are currently supported:

• Infor Baan IV
• Infor Baan V
• Infor ERP LN

Infor Baan ERP can run on both UNIX and Windows operating systems. The adapter will be described here for the UNIX operating system. In case there are significant differences for Windows, these differences will be described as well.

Knowledge of the Ometa Business Connector and how to set it up, is required before being able to understand and use this interface.
